I’ve had mine for 8 years and I like it but I just think the zoom and focus is frustrating. I feel like I could be taking better pictures with a different camera. I mainly do nature photography.

I’m in the US and my budget is between $500-700

I’m watching episode 8 of the killing season documentary right now and I’m wondering if there is any evidence that Rex Heuermann was in contact with John Robert Williams.

In the documentary, Williams claims to have a pen pal who lived Massapequa park who confessed to him that he was responsible for the Gilgo beach murders. Was this possibly Rex or is more likely that Williams (or someone else) was bullshitting?

According to Williams his penpal claimed to have been questioned by the police which lines up with what the user LongislandAndy said on UtopiaGuide.

Edit: I made this post before finishing the episode. I don’t think it was Rex but it is a strange coincidence. It seems like the pen pal they find in the documentary was the right person who lied about being lisk.

I saw someone speed through a red light a couple weeks ago.

This morning two cars ran a red light at an intersection. The second almost hit me when I was turning.

I have a 10,000 word unfinished first draft of a gothic novella that I’ve been working on for over a year. I’m really not happy with it but I’ve been trying to finish the first draft before I start rewriting it.

I know that all writers have to figure out what works best for them. I have a tendency to over edit and not finish any stories that I’ve started, so for this novella I’ve really been trying to focus on completing a first draft.

I have a lot of things I want to change or edit. I’m also not sure if I even want to go with my original ending that I had in mind, so it might not even be worth it to finish if I’m going with a different ending anyway.
