Inspiration in Waste: "This is the last one" (accountability/motivation vaguepost)
I've been stuck in the Waste, again, and am finding my motivation to quit in the chorus:
"Every night you were tripping out
In the morning you were coming down
If it's breaking your heart, if nothing is fun
Don't lose hope, my son
This is the last one."
Last one was right at midnight. I'm so tired y'all, tired of tripping out, tired of coming down, tired of the heartbreak and anhedonia and hopelessness. Tired of the cycle repeating ad finitum - so I'm gonna try to break it for good, starting today.
Sorry for the vagueness, but I figured lots of y'all might relate to the sentiment even if the details differ from fan to fan. I'm gonna print the lyrics out and highlight the following for the challenging days ahead:
"It's gonna feel so good to let it go...
You are not alone, and you get to reset."
Here's to the reset.
