Broken wires

I had some work done on my cars transmission (replacing the whole clutch assembly) and when i went to pick it up i noticed some exposed wires that lead into some intoxalock branded tape. I had the work done at several shops and I'm not sure what could have happened. Its a tiny car and i catch my foot on the underside of the dash when pressing in the clutch all the time but i know I never get caught on any wires but I'm not sure maybe someone test drove it after the clutch was replaced but I'm not sure. The car has been to 3 local mechanic shops, and i only noticed the loose wires when i finally got it towed back to my house.

I called Intoxalock and explained the situation and they said they would schedule an inspection for me and mentioned possible tampering. I had verbally informed them of the maintenance at the time but when i went to check my account there is no record of maintenance at any shop.

does anyone know what happens if they determine the device has been tampered with? (for context I still have my license. Part of my deal was I was not required to get a restricted license so long as i kept an interlock installed on my car. I'm just wondering how this will look to my parole officer.
