Made a post last week where I posted my plans for the High Tatras in the Poprad district of Slovakia, and got some great advice on what hikes to do. I stayed at the Chata Pod Soliskom and used it as a base to do all these hikes. Day 1 was an out and back Rysy summit hike, Day 2 was a loop of the Bystrá lávka, and Day 3 I had plans of doing the entire Stary Smokovec-Teryho Chata-Priecne Sedlo-Zbojnicka Chata-Stary Smokovec loop on my last day but I would've been pushing my travel schedule. Stopped at the Teryho Chata instead and turned back. No regrets.

Here are some photos from 3 incredible sunny days in the High Tatras.

Should've listened to the person who said there would be snow above 2000m. Did Rysy without microspikes, but got them for Bystrá lávka to make life easier. Had fun nevertheless!

Picked up a Lightmixer 630 for 20€ with 2 films still inside it. The flash doesn't seem to work and the light doesn't come on inside the viewfinder. I shot both of them by mistake inside a badly lit room since it's my first time using a camera like this.

The film pack is from December 2024 according to the numbers printed on the film. Is it possible the previous owner left the pack sitting inside the camera since then (19 months) and the battery has been depleted? I'm still waiting for a new film pack to be delivered in 2 days.

Or is it possible the flash circuit is fried? It only once made a small mechanical shrill sound when I held down the flash recharge button halfway through. But no light.
