Yes me and everyone else just looking for that fall-time high

so flying into Burlington & driving to Calais/Montpelier area where we found lodging. Planning on driving into towns like Stowe and Woodstock (touristy I know) but also want to drive around and visit other small towns and find hidden gems (we’re from TX so don’t mind driving 1 hr to a destination haha that’s not much for us).

the issue is that my trip was originally Oct 6-10 but unforeseen circumstances pushed it 20-24. I know that’s past peak 😭 Will trees be barren? is it stick season already? I don’t care if it’s past peak as long as I see some fall colors on trees (again, don’t have that in Texas). Would appreciate thoughts!
