Help me get this stain out
A few days ago I accidentally dropped a piece of pink slime on my light-colored carpet. The slime was colored with Wilton pink/red gel food coloring, so it left a pink stain. It was never bright red, just pink. The timing couldn’t have been worse because we literally just had the carpets professionally cleaned a couple of days before this happened, and I’m not the one who paid for the cleaning. I’m honestly trying to get it out before my dad notices because I know he’s going to be upset. I’ve been trying everything I can think of. I’ve used dish soap, vinegar, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, a carpet stain remover, and even tried the heat transfer method. I also tested a tiny spot with bleach just to see if it would help, but it didn’t. The stain has faded some, but it’s still clearly there. I just bought Folex Carpet Spot Remover and LA’s Awesome Stain Remover from Dollar Tree, so I’m hoping one of those works. Has anyone actually gotten Wilton gel food coloring out of carpet after trying everything else? If Folex or LA’s Awesome worked for you, how did you use it? Or is there another product or method that finally got rid of the stain? I’m open to any suggestions at this point.
