My trip is August 28, and the Hungarian Consulate called me today about my hotel booking.

I explained honestly that I’m joining a company/client-organized biking trip with my team and CEO/client, so I’m mainly following the itinerary they arranged. Our accommodations depend on where we end up each day.

My original hotel booking only showed one city because the actual accommodations weren’t finalized yet. I just wanted to be honest rather than make up details I wasn’t sure about. He didn’t request any additional documents after the call.

Is this concerning? And does getting a clarification call mean they’re actively reviewing the application or potentially indicate a higher chance of approval?

Hi! I recently submitted all my requirements sa VFS Manila last July 31. I have a business trip po on August 28. By August 3, I received an email from VFS na pinoprocess na yung visa ko. By august 11, I missed 2 calls from the Consulate of Hungary, i tried to call back and email them but no response. I’m not sure if ano yung reason ng pagtawag nila.

I’m not sure if aabot yung visa ko for my trip on the 28th. Aabot po kayo? What do you think I should do? Thanks

Hi! I applied for my Schengen Visa last July 31st thru VFS in Manila. I am traveling for business and my flight would be on the 28th of August if ever approved. I was waiting for an update and yesterday I missed 2 calls from the consulate of Hungary. Will they ever call back again? I tried calling the hotline and I sent them an email about it but I did not hear any response from them. I’m not sure if they’ll still call me back again and if this would affect my visa application. Any thoughts?
