I ran through NG using the armor you get in deliveries at the start of game. I'm approaching NG+ I don't use any equipment set, should I just salvage everything until I get to graces?

I have never hired a lawyer and all I see is sponsored results. Are there some green/red flags, criteria, or anything I should gauge when selecting my lawyer?
I have a simple case where a new store opened up with the same name as mine selling the same goods in the same county. I do not have a trademark. I am hoping a cease and desist letter will suffice. Should I just go with the cheaper option for something simple like a cease & desist letter?
