The Open 2027

I got sunday tickets for the open next year at st.andrews in the ballot, which is brilliant, but comes with some headaches.

There is absolutely no accommodation in st andrews in any sort of budget. I was wondering how do normal fans usually do these trips? Stay in Edinburgh and get the first possible train?. Are very early bird and late evening trains put on for the open weekend?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Where to pay tax?

I am an irish person living in UK..

I have around £16k in investments in accounts back in Ireland, which I need to liquidate in advance of starting a job in September in the UK. I was wondering if I pay any tax due to HMRC( as most of my gains would fall in the £3000 AE?).

Any advice is appreciated.

How to feel better about my prospects?

I am M(24), living in london and have a well paying, decent job starting in a few months. I am coming up to my last few months at law school and cannot help but feel I am wasting it by not finding a girlfriend and trying more with girls. I am not the clubbing type but am confident in a lot of other areas in life, but for some reason I have never felt comfortable exploring a romantic interest with people even if I do find them attractive. I have a strange, built in programme in my brain that makes me think I'll be rejected. This has built up over the years in uni when I never got approached and get rejected if I ever make a move in a club.

I have a decent group of friends, which is the weird thing. I geuinely have a great life and play a lot of sport and my weeks are busy socially. It is just that there is a hole in my life which could be filled by a relationship and feeling loved. I guess i kind of just want advice on how to seem more interesting to women and what might elevate my chances of them saying yes to a coffee after class or something.Any advice anyone? The courage to ask someone out is feeling a bit much for me right now. I know I am a long way out from a traditional 'relationship' but i genuinely do not know where to start and it is eating away at my happiness gradually.
