Being a better parent and wife on Zoloft

I’ve been taking Zoloft for postpartum anxiety and depression (couldn’t eat or sleep, was very depresse, had lots of panic attacks and anxiety). it helped a lot. after a while i noticed that it helped in areas that i didn’t expect. On Zoloft i‘m less reactive, less angry, don’t get carried away by bad emotions so much. I’m also more relaxed in general about things that stressed me in the past like traveling with lititle kids for example. I used to think about everything that could go wrong and tried to plan every little detail ahead. Now I don’t overly plan anymore and just see how it goes.

I want to stop taking Zoloft because I assume I don’t need it anymore and I have some side effects that are bugging me. So I’m eager to stop taking it. but what about the positive effects that it had on me? Am I going to go back to being an emotional and anxious mess sometimes? I wish I could just keep the positive effects, not necessarily for me but for my loved ones because it made me a better wife and mom. I still have a little bit of hope that my brain learned to be calmer so I can keep the positive changes. Does anyone have experience with this?
