New Mediterranean restaurant in the old location of Hungry Sumo, next to Chaiyos. The owner, Sam, is super kind and has been running it himself. Everything is made to order, everything I’ve tried has been phenomenal! Reasonably priced as well. Always nice to support a local business with all of the chains popping up nearby. Check them out and give them some love!
My roommates and I (3 guys) are looking for a new roommate to fill a spot in a 4 bed, 2 bath house in Maryville, TN, starting any time or August 1. Only about a 20-25 minute drive to campus, and 40-45 mins to Oak Ridge National Lab (and it avoids I-40!) Two of us are engineering PhD students, and one is a longtime friend of mine.
We have the master bedroom available, which is very spacious, has its own bathroom, and a walk-in closet, all on the first floor. Overall the place is about 1800 sq feet between the upstairs and downstairs so quite a lot of room with a large kitchen. Ideally we would be looking for another graduate student to fill the space.
Rent for the whole house is $2800, the because the master bedroom is much larger with its own bathroom, we’re looking to lease it for $800 a month.
Some other notes:
-We are all quite clean and do a good job of sharing the space and cleaning common areas.
-All three of us are musicians, and we have the garage semiconverted into a practice/recording space as well.
-I personally love to cook, so we have a huge amount of kitchen equipment that you’re more than welcome to use
