Does anyone who has gone the animal science route know what dorm is closest to the classes?

Hello, I have a roommate and we both have Wave 3 selection. My time is 430EST and his 1030EST, we both are going to Haslam. In an ideal world all we want is the closest dorm to there but also having private bathroom instead of a communal. What would be the best move?

I am planning to sign a lease with Woodlands Apartment for the next session. I would like to know what the condition of living in this apartment is like.

Do they have good management and is the place a good apartment to stay.

Your feedback and recommendations will be highly appreciated.

so one of my professors has yet to grade one of our papers or submit final grades for both of the classes that i have with them. should i be concerned or has this happened to anyone else?

When are final grades due? I’ve seen a couple post on here that said they were supposed to be finalized today, but I don’t have mine for any classes. Thank you!

is there anything i can do about a petty teacher giving me a unfair grade at the last minute? also it doesn't help he isn't replying to my emails. i heard usually these things take A WHILE and the grade was just put in last week. i've been trying to get in touch with the department but they've been so backed up everytime i call. is it too late to petition it?

Okay all jokes and references aside, My roommate got a 9:30 AM time slot on wave 2 day 1 (first day of roommate groups). We obviously (like every other freshman here) want a good dorm room. So, please upperclassman give me the odds of us getting brown hall honestly, and give as many details as you know about the other dorms that may prove helpful! I personally am in artsci while she’s in engineering so we are already decently far apart in terms of buildings so we already accepted our fate regarding walking. thank you all in advance!

Edit: Also how does the process work? since she has the first time slot she picks for both of us, but does it automatically tag me into the room or do I have to do anything specific?

Hi guys! I’m an incoming freshman who was miraculously blessed with a 9:00 am June 1st wave 2 time slot (thank you utk computer system🙏🙏🙏🙏). I’m just looking for advice on which dorm I should pick since I will hopefully have my choice of any! I’m mainly between Brown or Torchbearer (Brown being tried and true, I’ve visited, bigger beds, and seemingly bigger rooms, while Torchbearer is newer, with newer amenities, and a really neat location near Neyland and Circle park), but with Torchbearer being new, there aren’t any reviews of it or virtual tours yet, so I can’t decide. If anyone in here has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you! :)

I am going to UTK next fall, and I am in Chancellors Honors College. I wanted to room with some of my friends but none are in the honors college. I just got my housing option email, though, and it says Poplar hall is now an option for the Honors LLC. Is this a viable solution? Could I get my non-honors friends into a 4 person suite at poplar (im in wave 1, if that matters).

Also, would I want to? Is Poplar better/worse than Dogwood? I appreciate any insight. Thanks!
