I wonder if my current actions are the worst choice or if I am just being foolish, but it is still hard to leave a platform I have grown attached to and enjoyed using for so long.

I am now confused and cannot know for sure whether the path C.AI's CEO and developers are choosing is truly sincere or if they actually have other motives, but for now, I can only hope that the outcome does not betray my hopes.

I earnestly hope that my choice does not end in despair...

Personally, I silently accepted and moved on even when they added ads to the website and introduced Persona Age Verification. Why? Because I genuinely enjoyed roleplaying on C.AI. On C.AI, I could put my OCs into the IPs I wanted and enjoy my own grand fanfic epics. So, I decided to endure it.

That is why, until now, I haven't come to this Reddit even when something happened on C.AI. I just quietly enjoyed my small pleasures. But now... the current situation is the result of me enduring all of that.

I always wonder, but why does the world block people who are exhausted by a harsh reality from finding even a little bit of joy, as if that joy were something bad...?
