Transfer Portal thoughts

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the sliders for TP? I see the majority of ppl keep them at default and some like decreasing/increasing them.
It’s hard to find a middle ground I think in regards to making it fair for the smaller school teams. Most ppl like decreasing the sliders to make it “realistic” so that there aren’t so many transfers and most players find a destination so that 5 and 4 star players aren’t just sitting there never signing and being deleted from the game. If you look at real life transfers huge schools such as Alabama had 30 transfers and small schools such as Appalachian State had the same amount. So when you decrease them to make them “realistic” are you really tho? I struggle finding a middle ground. What sliders do you prefer and why?

Still worth the visit

Does anyone else still send recruits on a visit even if you know for sure your team is eating an L? I’m doing a UMASS rebuild and we have a game at home against Ole Miss and I have a few players who have all 3 green for the hard sell but unsure if I should still send the visit even tho we don’t stand a chance.

What’s your dynasty strategy

Do you make a coach dynasty where you start at whatever school and accept offers and move on or do you take a school and rebuild them? I personally like rebuilding small schools and doing the grind for years, I feel like doing a coach build and accepting an offer to a top tier school will get to easy grabbing constant 4-5 stars every season.

One more fun dynasty before 27

With over 2000 hours into this game I got pretty burnt out the past few months losing interest. I was just scrolling YouTube the other day and a creator I watch regularly posted a video with a new offense he created and I gotta say I haven’t had this much fun in awhile. For someone such as myself who loves Pure Runner QBs this offense caters to their abilities perfectly. The users name is DuceSenpai so Duce if your on this thread and see this my hats off to you!

Team prestige drop

Anyone else think EA should drop the prestige of some teams? Florida St, Florida and Michigan St are a few examples of teams not really playing to the 4 star prestige lately🤷🏻‍♂️ I get it they are storied programs but haven’t been playing to what’s expected of them. What’s your thoughts?

Your favorite random playbook

See so many ppl using the same teams playbooks. Oregon St, Houston, Oregon, Georgia, Rice etc. I’ve tried all of those and just about every other team and just felt meh about them. After sifting thru so many teams I stumbled upon the UTEP playbook and haven’t went back. This playbook has so many slant/mesh/drag concepts which work perfect with the route artist archetype, elusive route runner can work too but not having catch in traffic is a bummer. My other 2 honorable mentions are New Mexico St and Washington St both pretty solid playbooks as well. What’s your random lesser known playbook you roll with?

The misconception with building a team

I feel like this don’t get talked about enough and is vital for players who struggle to win. Sticking with a scheme is of the utmost importance. A lot of ppl I’ve seen lately are having problems against CPU and they need to ask themselves, am I recruiting the right positions for my offense and defense? For example if your running an Air Raid playbook you wouldn’t want a pure runner qb behind center, if your running a 4-2-5 defense you would want your LBs to be lurkers or signal callers. Learn to play to the strengths of your scheme. If anyone is interested Mills on YouTube has a ton of videos on how to recruit for every offense and defense scheme and is super helpful. As always everyone is free to play the game however they want I’m just trying to help ppl understand it’s a scheme for a reason, stick to it!

Anyone ever move any real players to a different position and find them more successful than their current position? I moved Jaylen Mbakwe from Alabama from a WR to HB and he is an absolute stud with insane speed.

Anyone have an idea of what teams they will use for 27 dynasty? The whole year I was making a dynasty with top tier teams and I got bored with it after awhile I felt like there wasn’t much of a challenge constantly grabbing 4-5 stars and winning Nattys. Lately I been playing around with 1-2 and 3 star teams and the rebuild feels so more rewarding but since 27 is almost here I don’t wanna get too invested in a 26 rebuild. I narrowed it down to either Florida International or Washington State. Who will be your rebuild for 27?
