So, I admit I'm a bit hard of hearing, but I'm surprised how in TV and movies people on airplanes are able to make conversations without resorting to shouting and gesticulations to get even short messages across.
Is it a trope?
So I'm married to a delightful short woman, height 143 cm. I'm 180 cm and in our current car (manual Hyundai) we have an issue with the seating and steering wheel.
We want to get this Buzz and while the automatic negates the problem slightly, we would still like to fine a good solution to our problem:
Even when adjusting the seat and wheel my wife has trouble reaching the pedals in a comfortable manner. This means the pushes the seat so much forward that if the airbag were to be activated, I'm doubtful if she would have any teeth left.
So I've been looking for some way to lengthen the pedals either by some sort of block or something. The VW retailer says "they've seen something on the market to that effect." But they come up short (no pun intended) when it comes to an actual solution.
A friend of mine says he's seen something where an extention block is mounted on a hinge that can be engaged/disengaged very easily so the length will suit both of us at will.
Google etc. Isn't very helpful in regards to my search terms (mostly extentions for bicycles come up), so.I wondered if someone here had seen anything that would fit my need?
