Hi everyone! I am a 13-year-old student conducting an international psychology research project.
As teenagers, we constantly change how we talk, act, and joke depending on who we are interacting with—whether it's parents, teachers, different friend groups, or different social media apps. Psychologists call this "identity shifting" or "code-switching."
I want to find out how often teens actually do this in the digital age, and how exhausting it is for our brains.
