My pool starts to get cloudy when my chlorine drops below 7ppm or so. It feels like it shouldn’t need to be that high. Any ideas as to why this is the case?
10,000 gallon salt pool in Santee, CA. Keep my cartridge filter almost obsessively clean. Water temps generally mid to high 80s. Sometimes low 90s. Brush weekly. Standard usage for a family of 4 with two young kids. I always keep a solar cover when not in use. I never add non chlorine shock unless I have a party. I use a Pool Perfect type product every week. Run filter 8-9 hours per day at 55 GPM.
