Traction pad placement seems way off on my new board — need a sanity check

Hi everyone, im new here.

IHi everyone, I'm new here.

I recently bought this board (Hypto Krypto-style shape, 6'4" x 21 1/4" x 2 7/8") and something feels very off with the pad positioning. When I place my feet centered on both pads, both legs are completely straight — definitely not a natural surf stance.

Measurements:

  • Tail pad to tail edge: ~12 cm (from the edge of the tail to the beginning of the vertical part of the tail pad)
  • Front pad to tail pad (stance width): ~85 cm (i didnt have anything to mesure on my hands so i used some standard A4 paper)

Do you guys think that the front pad is too forward or is also the back pad thats wrongly positioned?

Should i just remove the front pad?
And what about these exagonal pads? Are they any good or i should also remove those?

Thanks for the advices!!
