Kind of sad that this Nao moment gets glossed over so much because of everyone swarming over Kikuzawa’s “surefire strategy”.

I'm sure that no one truly cares about this that much but I'll point it out regardless. I've seen lots of people saying they pictured the dress as red, and that's for a reason. I wonder what made this another one of their changes.

Anyways, do you guys prefer it green or red?

The dealers look like they’re watching a romance drama or something. The summer i turned smart.

I would like to start off by saying how Michiko shows up for 5 seconds and mogs the whole cast. She’s probably my favorite one-off character.

An episode or two back, someone made a theory that she was actually working for the LGT and I found that really interesting. It’s not canon but who knows 🤷‍♀️. Maybe we just weren’t told about it. But let’s say for the sake of this theory/headcanon, this theory isn’t true.

Okay, here’s where the headcanon actually starts. Starting off, Michiko (atleast in the anime, I forgot what she looked like in the manga) looks very similar to Nao. The hairstyle and features are very very similar. Even down to their guilty conscience.

As we know, Michiko came back to the Liar Game venue only to give back the 100million yen she won in the first round. Let’s think about that for a moment. She managed to steal 100 million yen from her opponent. Doesn’t she seem abit too timid and fragile to be able to pull something like that off? Even more (atleast I would say so) ruthless players only managed to steal 10-20million yen. IIRC, Nao was the only one who was able to take the whole pot.

My theory is she had her own Akiyama who helped her steal the 100 million, but unlike our Akiyama, this Akiyama leaves her after the first round. Then again, did she not have to pay her hypothetical Akiyama? Who knows.

What do you guys think about this? Was this kind of stupid? Yeah. But please remember, this is just for shits and giggles and I might be going a bit insane waiting for next episode.

I’ve been rereading the whole series lately, mostly because of the new anime and my LG hyper fixation back full force. Also because I feel like I’ve forgotten a lot of the detailed plot and I can’t have that.

One thing about Liar Game is it’s so easily rereadable. Everytime, it’s just as exciting and thrilling. And it’s definitely a series that you notice new things everytime you reread.

It’s genuinely so satisfying to watch Nao grow as a person and it’s not unrealistic. She doesn’t become a genius like Akiyama just because she played the Liar Game. She doesn’t abandon her morals in favor of winning the game. It’s still the same Nao but stronger.

I do like Nao as the moral compass and support. I genuinely think that because of her optimistic mindset, she’s always able to find the bright side in a dire situation and lift everyone’s spirits(e.g. this and in >!the beginning of the last stage).!<

It’s a shame she gets sidelined in the upcoming final round. I really wish that she could’ve played a bigger role.

Anyways, that’s two people who said she’s grown stronger !!

Someone here commented on one of my posts saying that they love Akiyama having a skinny build rather than the typical protagonist thicc build and I agree. I guess that was kind of thrown away in the anime.

I want to know how he got this build since he’s been in prison and only got out for abit over a month at this point? Prison gym? Maybe construction work but realistically, he’s only been working for like a week or so.

Also from the outside, he doesn’t look as fit 😭. He’s the definition of a sleeper build, ay?

Anyways, I’m not complaining. I love me some eye candy.
