Air France reassigned our seats, sitting separated from kid now
Hi,
we had selected the best business class seats on the plane, row 3E, 3F and 3L in their 777-300, booking early. Air France now re-assigned us "for operational reasons" to 5F and 6F, the kid still sitting in 3L. I am on a different ticket (6F) since I am traveling for work, so they can't know, but it still feels weird to separate my kid from his mother. And of course, to just take the best places in the plane away!
Is this normal? Is there anything we can do? Pretty sure this is my first and last time on Air France.
We decided we'll figure this out when we fly, staying for now in our disconnected seats in the front of the cabin.
I have never flown with Air France before, so no idea what leverage we have ahead of time, guess not much given how my discussion with their agent on WhatsApp went.
