Spicelife Indian fare affordable and tasty at crown plaza Gaithersburg
Let’s get this out of the way if you want the most bang for you buck get the build you or own bowl for around $15.
Massive bowl filled with rice, tandoori chicken(up to 3 pcs) chicken pea curry, butter chicken, saag paneer, onion pakora, chicken masala and a bunch of other stuff. Not by weight but by bowl.
They also have items that are made fresh. I ordered the massive rave onion masala dosa 14 bucks and Malabar goat curry. A customer suggested lamb chops but not today. Supposed ly that tandoori lamb chops are juicy and yummy.
The dosa was a monster size but so delicately crispy Krinkly. Oniony and lots of Plato to. Made to dunk into a great sambar that comes with the dish.
Look I like goat I feel it has more real meaty flavor than beef. Definitely a more sustainable red meat. The coconut did not overpower the curry but helped blunt the harshness of the spices. The chef know what he is doing.
