I'm just restarting my car with the manual park,/brake/buttons etc sequence as described at https://www.volvocars.com/uk/support/car/ex90/24w36/topic/427778da438fd5b4c0a801514f24aac7/.

It seems to have changed and now it only says "Starting Up..." and the dots underneath the text move left to right. So nothing like how it used to display errors etc on restarting.

MY25 and 3.0.33 (and restarting because GHCA appears to have gone bye bye again, thought it's a public 22kwh charger which was delivering 11 and then 7kwh yesterday and car updated overnight from 3.0.28 and now a dead GHCA - related, probably not...)

EX90 newly licenced cars in the UK compared XC90 T8 (PHEV)

There is some publicly available data on UK car registrations since 2014. This chart above is the EX90 (plus and ultra) vs the plug-in hybrid XC90 registrations in the UK (T8) for the last two years. The data is per quarter and the EX90 only arrived in the UK in Q4 2024, with most of those being press and demo cars. So in the UK for Volvo for the large SUV, PHEV outsells 5:1 approx.

So I connected my car to my phone to get Android Auto now that I have the latest Volvo software. I can't see the point of this. It replaced the Google maps screen with a smaller map and thought I could run other apps now, they looked too large for the scale/size of the screen.

I also had to disconnect my Bluetooth and add it again to activate wireless Android Auto.

Volvo Cars are adding Apple Music natively to all their cars (presumably those on new software like the EX90)

This started happening on Saturday during a drive, and could not wash the front windows with the wipers. Took a look today under the wheel arch and find the pipe is disconnected and will not stay connected when the pump pushes water at pressure around the system. The water tank then drains to the level of the pipe.

Tapped the "open" button for the glove box twice in quick succession (I think) and now the button on the screen underneath Settings is disabled but the glove compartment is open and the locks are in. So it will not stay shut.

Someone else less than a month ago had the same issue and took it apart to fix, but I'm driving and so that will need to wait until the evening. https://www.reddit.com/r/VolvoEX90/s/8m51Hhl5Ht

I'm going to leave it overnight and see if the overnight reboot resets the locks, but in the meantime anyone got a fix or better suggestions?
