Rolex Gold Day-Date Comparison — PPM vs VSF

Hi folks, WatchSeed here. I put these two factories side by side. What I can see:

  1. From the appearance color, PPM's gold is more high-end, while VSF's gold tends to be yellow;
  2. I think VSF has done a better job with the lens, but there may be some flaws in the PPM I have in my hand because sometimes VSF also has date off situation;
  3. PPM more links and weight;
  4. PPM printing is slightly thicker than VSF;
  5. For movement, PPM is SH3255 and VSF is DD3255 (The waterproof ring of PPM is on the back cover)

Each factory has its own strengths depending on what matters most to you — price, finishing, weight, or overall accuracy.

Which one would you pick?

[WatchSeed] Pepsi V3 Bezel

I know someone misunderstood GMT master II series all V3 version. Actually, only Pepsi is V3 version because its bezel is V3. The bezel turns into red under UV light. Other GMT like BW, batgirl, Sprite no matter which version, we can only said they all the newest version😄

AP 26240 Comparison — APS vs DDF vs OME

Hi folks, WatchSeed here. I put these three factories side by side. From the naked eye, there is still a significant difference in their colors.

Which one would you pick?🤔

Hi folks, WatchSeed here, putting together a comparison of dial, weight, engravings, lume, bracelet, and movement across these four factories. ( A watch that looks "too yellow" or "too matte" in photos may look completely different in hand.)

Which one do you guys prefer overall? And more importantly, which details matter most to you when choosing — dial accuracy, weight, finishing, or movement reliability?

Curious to hear your thoughts, especially from those who’ve handled multiple versions in hand.
