We are selling our home and downsizing an apartment for a couple years. I’d like to earn 5% in dividend income annually off the proceeds of the home, paid out in monthly income without too much volatility and maintaining principal. Does anyone have experience with this? I’d like to avoid covered call ETFs. Also, this would be a taxable account. Just curious what your take is, given the economic backdrop. Thanks
