Had an appointment at VFS UK for passport renewal a few weeks ago. They did not take my fingerprints/biometrics. Just want to find if it is alright? Thanks

I am applying to get my Indian passport renewed.

The Passport Portal says to upload first two and last two pages of passport [The first two pages would mean the inner cover page with round seal and officer signature + blank page next to it and next page with photo DOB + black page next to it. The last two pages would mean page with address + blank page next to it, and last two black pages].

While the VFS says first and last page. It is so confusing.

If you applied recently, please help in understanding this.

The documents like passport, address proof etc that need to be uploaded on the portal, do we sign the documents scan them and then upload the documents? or can we upload these documents without signature and take the signed versions when going to VFS centre?
