Teaching to wipe
My daughter has been potty trained for over 6 months now and night potty trained for about 3. We keep a potty and toilet paper in her bedroom and she wakes up herself and goes to the potty. She used to call for us to come wipe her, but recently she has been wiping herself. I would love this except we potty trained pretty young and she is not quite 2 and a half. She is very independent which I love to encourage but I’m not very confident that this is sanitary. I can normally catch her in time and then help her and help her to wash her hands but yesterday she pooped in the potty during her nap, wiped herself, and put her pants back on. She seemed to actually do a decent job but I feel a little unsure.
Any tips on how to teach a young 2 year old how to wipe?
