Are there any stores out there that aren't struggling?

There's been a few posts lately where people describe the horrors that is their store. I read the post about Dominion NorthSide and felt like I was reading about my store. Does anyone work at a store that's actually doing good and thriving? I'm honestly curious.

What's happening to the full time positions? 🫪

Lately, our store leader has been on a crusade harassing full time employees who are calling out once every two weeks or giving a shift away.

She's basically pressuring people to step down to part time if they aren't there 5 days every week. I think if she had the grounds to do so a lot of people would be automatically demoted but the pressure has worked on a few people similar to how they give you the option to quit so you can get re-hired.

This coupled with when some full time employees transfer to other stores and their full time position suddenly turns into two part time positions.

As a part time employee who's been trying to become full time this is kind of frustrating. My metrics are impeccable literally never in the yellow but there seems to be no clear path to full time .

I've heard the argument that it gives them more flexibility but there HAS to be downsides to this strategy that they are completely ignoring.

Edit: the calling out every two weeks example was a bad one 🤣

I think I should focus more on how this pertains to me;

I'm part time but I easily work almost 40 hours pretty regularly. I have to dial it back sometimes so my average isn't over 32 (Texas) but all the full timers in my department basically rely on me to take one of their shifts every week because the burnout is so bad. My frustration is just because I literally never call out or am late. This quarter so far I've only been late once by one minute and I never call out. Not because I love my company I just like nice things.

It's just crazy to be 1 or 2 percent away from 100 on my orchard metrics and have almost perfect attendance and just not even getting the chance to be FT. (Ops specialist)
