I've used Virtual DJ and Rekordbox....prefer using rekordbox, to me its more intuitive than VDJ. But I will say this....it seems music sounds crisper in VDJ than rekordbox, the stems, everything....WHY....!! It cant be my sound card in my cheap controller because I've used both on the same controller and VDJ just sounds better (unfortunate for me, because I'm using Rekordbox).
I have a couple of Kuna cameras and a couple from Titanium Security, which is now AmpSmart. But wanting to get a set of 4 from the same vendor, eg all ring or some other brand. Also wanting to decrease my subscription cost.
Kuna doesnt offer many options, half of their stuff is out of stock.
Anyone have recommendations. Right now looking closely at Ring but interested in the experience of others with ring and other brands.
Started up my rekordbox today, and I notice I have a track or two that says they are not available when I try load them into a deck. Its like its not there. I right click and do a auto locate and it comes back. But this has never happened before. I closed rekordbox out and reopened it and it happened again a couple of other tracks.
Any ideas why its suddenly doing that or has experienced the same.
Also...I pull songs off of Itunes into my playlists....but some of them dont show or are not available..? Is this a song licensing issue?
Rookie still learning...but forgive me if this is a dumb question....do I really need memory cues? Hot cues seem to be more useful to me than memory cues. Setting up my songs in export, I see the memory cue settings, etc...but I dont use them, I just use the hot cues settings.
But interested in any insight from seasoned folks on how they use memory cues and their thoughts.
Beginner DJ, started with Virtual DJ, thought I liked it. To make changes in VDJ, it can be pretty intricate, have to know where to go to do it, etc.
Tried Rekordbox...and wow, what a huge difference. It is more intuitive and easier to use. Maybe its because I started on VDJ....but nonetheless, it feels so much easier to use that VDJ.
I ended my subscription with VDJ....now dedicating my time and learning on rekordbox....good move yes?
