The importance of Asat Pramad in the lore and his future (4.3 spoilers)
Read the TLDR pls
One thing I would like explored more is just how important Asat Pramad/Isee is to the overarching lore surrounding Akivili's fall and Nanook's ascension, as everything we have so far is speculation.
Out of every character we've been introduced to, Asat Pramad is uniquely positioned as one of the only known potential eyewitnesses to both events. He was present on Adlivun during Akivili's fall and likely remained there through the birth of Nanook. That alone makes him arguably the single most valuable source of information regarding one of the larger gaps in knowledge thus far.
He would also be one of the few people to visit Adlivun, which is also critical to the story, as it is the location of both the fall and birth of an Aeon and is referenced by Lygus to contain information to destroy Nous.
If the theory that Akivili and Nanook are actually the same being has any truth to it, then Asat Pramad would be the most likely to know. He would have witnessed the transition firsthand. Conversely, if Akivili and Nanook are completely separate entities, he would also be one of the few characters capable of disproving that theory. He could even have had a hand in both events. Regardless, his perspective is likely the missing piece that connects these two pivotal moments in history.
The speculation:
Asat Pramad began as a follower of the Trailblaze before embracing the Destruction (he was already leaning toward destruction, but at the time it didn't exist).
The interesting theory is that he directly caused the fall (murder) of Akivili on Adlivun, and the fall of an Aeon being so significant and catastrophic that it was what allowed Nanook to ascend (forcefully creating the destruction path), not the fighting of the propagation and Rupert's forces. Given Nanook's appearance, it would also be interesting if his wounds were Akivili's from Isee's betrayal before "his" ascention. This would make him the "first lord ravager," given that he would have killed an Aeon and created one simultaneously. This also does not mean that Akivili is Nanook, but rather Nanook took Akivili's corpse as a vessel.
The other, less interesting theory is that if he witnessed Akivili's fall and Nanook's birth, his change in allegiance may have stemmed from his belief that the path of trailblaze itself had transitioned to destruction or destruction adjacent. If Akivili had "become" the Aeon of Destruction in his eyes, then following Nanook would have been the natural continuation of following Akivili or simply bandwagoning to the destruction.
Timeline-wise, this would mean he would have caused the death of fellow lord ravager Zulo, which wouldn't make sense logically unless he was feeling guilty immediately after (he might have done it for shits and giggles). This could also open up a potential redemption arc in 4.X.
This opens up his potential return toward the Trailblaze. The Trailblazer (MC) is repeatedly associated with Akivili, with many hints pointing to them as Akivili's successor, or perhaps even a reincarnation. Seeing the MC as Akivili could have altered Asat Pramad's previous understanding of both the trailblaze and destruction (maybe elation too), which may cause another change in heart from either guilt or a type of enlightenment (a thread exploring this topic here).
Beyond that, Asat Pramad's connections extend far beyond Akivili and Nanook. He's tied to the Trailblaze, Destruction, Elation, Voracity (Stealing from Oroborous, giving Ashveil his shadow), Abundance (Shuhu, Fulwish), the Finality (vanguard omens) and maybe even the Propagation if he was fighting them on Adlivun (one could almost draw parallels to the MC with how many paths he has encountered and influenced). If anyone is positioned to reveal the truth behind the relationship between Akivili, Nanook, and Aha's involvement in these events, it's him. It would also be interesting if he did end up joining us and returning to Adlivun (At this point, its gauranteed we visit that planet, given how many lore connections it has).
By the end of Version 4.0, I wouldn't be surprised if Asat Pramad ends up being the character that answers what actually happened on Adivilun in addition to other events; his lore is likely to be the deciding factor. I also think that he won't be killed due to his importance regarding these events.
I wouldn't even be surprised if he somehow had the knowledge to help cure Firefly (propagation) if he did join the Trailblaze crew, due to her condition being similar to the weathering curse (another topic which no one has talked about so far that I'm aware of).
TLDR: Isee/Asat Pramad has either been directly or tangentially related to every single major event from the fall of Akivili (potentially killed him) and the rise of Nanook to the current story. He also has ties/influence in 6 paths (Elation, Trailblaze, Destruction, Voracity, Finality, Abundace) with the potential of being an eminator in 3 (Elation, Trailblaze, Destruction). He is too important to kill without major lore drops and may join/ally with the Astral Express crew, could cure Firefly and take down Polka, given that they have similar MO's and strengths.
