I had owed a previous bank in Idaho in 2024 for 1k that went into collections soon after. That same time I moved to Texas and just two months ago I was served a summons from the collector that bought the debt. I originally tried to call them to settle, their receptionist would only let me leave a message to their debt lawyer and they never got back to me.

I then filed on Solo Suit with a debt answer and offered a low amount to see and then they offered me a lump sum of 1.8 or a payment plan of 2.3k. Now that the court case is around the corner what should I expect? Should I ask the plaintiff? Should I ask them to supplement the proof of debt? What should I be asking during court?
