I have an interview for a trainee clinical psychologist role. Would love to hear peoples opinions of the role as I do not know much about it. Finding it hard to choose the right path to the DClinPsy as I have also been offered a trainee EMHP role and Senior Assistant Psychologists role. I have not got the best grades so I am thinking further training would boost my application.
Hey would love to hear from anyone on the course with similar grades to mine. I have a 1st in my undergrad but this is not BPS accredited. I have a 2:2 in my MSc course (1 mark off a 2:1 and there was mitigating circumstances but I’m not sure unis care about that). I would like to know which unis people with grades like mine got into so I know where to apply next year, or if it’s going to be really difficult for me whether it’s worth doing extra training such as low-intensity. I have good, relevant experience. I managed to get onto the testing for Trent so I apply there again. Looking for recommendations around the Midlands.
