7w pregnant at 42 with 3 prev losses - in ultrasound waiting room waiting
UPDATE: Baby still alive with heart rate but low at 85 (last week was 101)
Baby had grown since last week but is further behind in size.
Dr said come back in a week and c when in pushed for a blunt prognosis,he said it’s likely I miscarry but to keep positive and not stress since preserving my mental health was the most important. I hear him. Trying to keep living positive during this wait. —— I’m at the hospital waiting to do a second viability scan after I had low hcg on weeks 5 and 6.
Had a viability scan last week where we saw the heartbeat but the rate wasn’t ideal nor was the baby’s size.
This is my follow up and I’m scared.
I got pregnant spontaneously after failed ivf cycles and several losses from spontaneous conceptions.
Am I delulu to think that if this fails, I could get pregnant again spontaneously?
I don’t have known issues other than age and thin lining (no scarring) following my last loss a year ago.
