Really worried about my radix being filled after revision rhinoplasty — will my dip come back?

I’m just over 3 weeks post-op from my revision rhinoplasty and I’m really worried about my radix/upper bridge.

My surgeon used diced cartilage from my nose (septal cartilage) to smooth/fill the area. I didn’t ask for my radix to be filled, and I really miss the dip I had between my forehead and nose. I feel like that dip helped separate my forehead from my nose and made my profile look much more natural and feminine. I feel like I’ve had one of my natural features taken away, and I really miss it.

I know I’m still swollen and it’s very early, but the radix feels like pure bone when I touch it, which is making me worry that the bridge has been built up too much. From the way it looks, I personally feel like my bridge has been made too high/full and it looks masculine.

The angle I’ve attached here honestly isn’t even that bad, but I’m posting it because it shows how high the radix is. From other angles it looks much bigger and more noticeable, which is what’s really upsetting me. The 2nd photo is pre-op, bit blurry and with makeup but shows my lower radix which is I wanted to keep! It makes for a smooth transition down to the nose now the higher radix, and bigger bridge makes my nose look bigger, as it’s a straight line down from my brow to my nose. SEE ATTACHED ANOTHER PHOTO IN THE COMMENTS

I personally feel like I would have looked better with a lower radix and with my natural dip preserved. I don’t want to be told that my nose looks good or that I should just be happy with it — I’m specifically asking whether people think the radix could become lower/more defined as the swelling goes down.

Has anyone had diced septal cartilage used to smooth/fill their radix and then had their natural dip become visible again during healing? Does the swelling around the cartilage make the area look much more filled at 3 weeks?
I’m honestly really upset about losing this feature and I’ve even started thinking about a third revision with another surgeon if it stays this way. I know it’s far too early to make that decision, but I’m struggling with how different my profile looks.

Do you think my dip could realistically come back as the swelling settles, even though there is diced cartilage underneath?

18 days post-op revision — worried my bridge was made too high

1st pic - 5 years after after primary surgery
2nd pic - a few days after primary surgery
Last 3 pics - now (bridge higher, nose made structurally bigger, dip filled in)

I’m feeling really worried about my result and would appreciate some honest opinions from people who have had revision rhinoplasty.

I want to make clear that I don’t think my nose is botched and I know I’m still very early in healing. My main concern is that I feel my bridge has been made too high/full, and I didn’t ask for my bridge to be filled.
My surgeon has told me there is a very small amount of diced cartilage there, using leftover cartilage from my nose, to smooth the surface. I didn’t have rib cartilage. He also says the area is mainly swelling and that I need to wait 3–4 months.

I’m struggling because when I look at my side profile, my nose looks much larger and higher than before. I’ve attached photos from immediately after my primary rhinoplasty too. Even though my nose was very swollen at that point, I still had the dip in my bridge and my side profile looked smaller.

I’m not sure exactly what was done during my revision, but if the bridge wasn’t so high, I honestly think I’d be happy with the result.

I’m worried that because structural changes were made, once the swelling goes down, the bridge will still remain too high and my profile will still look large. I’ve even started thinking about whether I could eventually need a third revision, although I know it’s far too early to make that decision.

Has anyone else had a revision where their bridge looked significantly higher/full at 2 weeks and then came down considerably? Or did your structural changes remain quite similar once the swelling settled?

I wish I had chosen another surgeon.

Is my side profile going to get smaller post revision surgery? Concerned!

I’m 18 days post op revision (I know I’m too early to come to any conclusions but I’m still worried). My right side profile is hugeeee!! And it’s much bigger than what it was right after my primary surgery, but surely should be smaller as it’s my 2nd surgery? I was worried and asked my surgeon if he added cartilage to the bridge and he said he didn’t. The top of my bridge feels very hard and bone like so I’m not sure if he’s restructured my cartilage or something or if it genuinely is swelling… I had a ‘scoop’ or ‘dip’ at the top of my bridge I wanted to keep and now it goes all the way down and looks like I have filler at the top of of my bridge which I hate, if it is genuinely swelling then I’d be relieved but I’m worried it’s not. 1-4 pics are right now post revision surgery, 5&6 images are 5 years after primary. Last image is 2 weeks after primary surgery where it was very swollen, same right profile where you can see the ‘dip’ at the top of my bridge and looks much smaller than my post revision surgery results ? So that’s why I’m soo concerned that it’s more than swelling :(

13 days post-op — why does my right profile look SO much bigger than my left? Really worried

Hi everyone, I’m 13 days post-op from a revision rhinoplasty, and I’m getting really worried about the difference between my two profiles.

My left profile looks fine, but my right profile looks significantly bigger — almost huge compared to the left, as you can see in the photos. There also seems to be a small bump/prominence near the top of my nose. It feels quite hard when I touch it, so I’m not sure whether it’s swelling or something to do with the underlying bone.
I know swelling is completely normal after rhinoplasty, and I understand that I’m still very early in recovery. However, I’m particularly worried because my right profile was smaller before surgery, and my surgeon didn’t use rib cartilage or add a graft that would explain the increased size.
I had swelling after my first rhinoplasty too, but I don’t remember my profile looking this large, which is why I’m struggling not to worry.

Do you think this could just be uneven post-op swelling? Has anyone else had one profile look dramatically bigger than the other around 2 weeks post-op?
