Abdominal binder Q

I have DR and also two small inguinal hernias and one femoral hernia. I believe this is all related to EDS but I’m seeing a specialist in a few weeks to get that confirmed. In order to deal with the v uncomfortable feeling of bloating that DR can cause I’ve been thinking about getting an abdominal binder. However won’t a binder increase internal abdominal pressure (back to normal levels) and as a consequence worsen my existing hernias? Or are those hernias basically unaffected by any change to abdominal wall pressure because they sit outside the wall (I think)? Apologies for my rudimentary anatomy knowledge!

This is an odd one I’ve not seen before, ever. iPhone 12, iOS 18.5 (12 too risky to update to ios26).

I have 5 missed call notifications from the same mobile number yesterday afternoon in the space of about an hour. All the notifications appeared via the Messages app. There are no notifications in the Phone app, no evidence in the missed call log, no red badges appeared on the corner of Phone app on the home screen. At least once, the calls occurred while I was on the phone to someone else and there was no sign on my screen except the missed call SMS notification. Attached is the only evidence I can find anywhere on my phone that these calls happened.

For context, it is in the caller’s interest to have evidence of these calls but not to actually talk to me. I am baffled. Am I missing something obvious? I have tried returning the calls but the phone is clearly switched off. I had exchanged a few text messages and the other phone is an android (green).

Two cop cars outside a house on cnr Brighton and Stanley, one pulled up outside another address on Stanley and now the chopper circling overhead, clearly searching for someone. Anyone know anything?
