How do some with 0 engineering or related field background become a bmet?

Hey everyone, so i am looking into building a solid career in this field despite having no related experience or background in it . But my local community college only has the biomedical engineering program which I don’t wanna go through because i am looking for the technical part of it and I am really into getting into the workforce as soon as i can and then i might earn an associates degree later on . So my question is ; should i try to get hired as a trainee while i do online schooling at schools like collage of biomedical equipment technology for about 8 months to earn certification and maybe take the board exam or there are other options? Also i will really appreciate it if you share any useful information about the field that you wish anyone getting into it knows and suggestions on how to get into it . Thank you!

I feel like i am getting into something i will regret later but i am still gonna do it

Yeah just like the title says, i am not sure about enrolling in the histo technician program at a cc but after trying to do my best in researching careers , this one seem to be slightly closer fit to me ( i don’t like the pay and how low the employment opportunity is where i live) but i can’t just sit and wait for the perfect fit so i am starting prerequisite soon 😭 tbh i DONT even like school !

Histology as a career for a person with asthma

Hello everyone! I am currently considering enrolling into the histo technician program at my local community college and will start taking prerequisites by the end of this month . I really like the idea of becoming a healthcare professional who works behind the scenes ( no patient interaction) but i sneeze almost everyday and have asthma but it’s not that bad cause i barely have to use my inhaler even though i carry it with me every where….. i do have nasal sensitivity but my asthma get triggered maybe once or twice a year ….. should i still go for it? how is the current job market of this field?

Also i will appreciate if you guys let me know what pay ranges should i expect cause i am looking for a career that will help me live comfortably . Thank you !
