Why don’t we have a consistent blue colour?

Across all the shirts in our history, the claret is fairly consistent - but the blue is all over the place! This year’s has one of the darkest blues. I much prefer the lighter ones, like in 2013, 1999 and 1987.

“Backlight Motion” option drains battery fast

Maybe this is obvious but I noticed that this one setting makes a huge difference to the battery on PT2. I went from 8-day charge cycle to 15-day by turning off Backlight Motion. The percentage of backlight in the pie chart went from 65% to 45%. My settings are: 5 seconds, blinding, warm white.

My guess is that Backlight Motion causes the backlight to trigger a lot when I’m moving about during the day, which wastes power.

West Ham World Cup squad

Build a squad of 15 on Fifa’s fantasy league game.

This is the best I could manage - two players short, lucky to scrape 1 goalkeeper and our forwards are aged 36 and 37!

Choosing a 3D printed protector for PT2

With all the warnings about the glass screen edge I felt a bumper was essential. I’ve tried all 3 available and they are all a good fit without any need for adhesive.

It feels like there’s a trade off between looks and safety. I love the look of the minimal “edge bumper” (first pic) but not sure it’ll offer enough protection. The 3rd one “bumper case” seems like great protection but makes the watch look a bit cheap.

What are other people’s experience with these?

£500 a head to buy out Sullivan?

According to this 2011 article there were 670,000 fans on the club’s database. If (big if) that’s true then the cost of buying Sullivan’s stake would require an average contribution of £500 each.

It’s obviously not that simple but hopefully shows that as a fan base we have more power over the owners than we imagine.

You never got me down, Ray

It goes to the final day.

We will still likely get relegated, but Spurs have to stay worried to the end and they don’t get the satisfaction of sending us down on a Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge when we’re not even playing.

I take some small comfort from that.
