Ticketing Question for 2026/27 season

Hey fellow Hammers! Im an Aussie lad who will be touring in London in October, I was hoping to catch a West Ham game, and it looks like the Home game Against QPR specifically is the only one i can whilst over there. Was wondering if there was any advice on how i go about securing a ticket ASAP to guarantee i can attend the game? Ill be solo, and willing to spend a little extra to get decent seats.
When typically do tickets go on sale? How early do i need to be to guarantee a ticket? Just would hate to miss out etc.

Any advice welcomed thanks!

[Record] West Ham are signing Portugal U21 midfielder Gustavo Sá from Famalicão for €20M (£17M)

Gustavo Sá is leaving Famalicão and will reinforce West Ham next season. The deal will be closed for an amount of around 20 million euros. SAD Minho initially pointed to the bar of €25 million, but the negotiations end up not reaching this level. Still, we are facing Famalicão's largest sale ever.

The 21-year-old international midfielder under-21 thus ends a long connection to Famalicão, which lasted since his time in the under-15s (2018/19). He debuted as a senior player in 2022/23 and has since player 120 games, netting 12 goals and 15 assists.

According to one Tottenham source, Roberto De Zerbi’s admiration was key in advancing that interest and establishing Mateus Fernandes as a priority. Spurs have approached this summer window with a determination to back their head coach, and to be ruthless and decisive in their pursuit of targets.

Tottenham’s awareness and interest in Mateus Fernandes dated back to his days in Sporting CP’s youth setup.

Fernandes scored against Spurs in a UEFA Youth League fixture in September 2022, before making the second senior appearance of his career at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as a second-half substitute in a 1-1 draw in the Champions League the following month.

Spurs continued to track him as he established himself in Sporting’s first team, and serious consideration was given to a move last summer following his impressive displays after joining Southampton.

Why don’t we have a consistent blue colour?

Across all the shirts in our history, the claret is fairly consistent - but the blue is all over the place! This year’s has one of the darkest blues. I much prefer the lighter ones, like in 2013, 1999 and 1987.

I am from Setubal Portugal and I am West Ham Fan

I start liking your club since I saw Green Street Hooligans in 2005.

For our younger fans

You might not remember us being in the championship!

But you will find players you love.

In the past, Vaz Te, Matty Taylor, Zamora, Miklosko.

One day we we will be back where we belong but for now, remember, fortunes always hiding.

Rumours of Rui Pedro Silva Joining the Club as Nuno's New Assistant Coach

So this has just been mentioned on Hammer's Chat on Youtube and while no big outlets have brought it up a few other internet sources are claiming Nuno's Number 2 from his time at Wolves and Nottingham Forest is West Ham bound after possibly leaving Wolves.

So if this is true, it will be the end of Paco's time permanently but it would show that Nuno is getting backed.

Feel like most of the fan base hates people like me

Not sure how this is going to go but just wanted to get some perspective. I moved to east London from Australia in 2018 and basically started following west ham cos it was the team people around me were following. Particularly over the last 4 or so years I’ve really invested and made the effort to go to games and be as engaged as possible, but the more I do the more I kinda feel on the outter.

There seems to be an overwhelming vibe that anybody who didn’t go to upton park isn’t a hammer; and anybody who only started supporting after the Stratford move is the main issue with club today.

I get that I am probably missing a lot by when I arrived here, but the vitriol surrounding Upton Park and where that hatred is projected is pretty off putting. I basically feel like my support is not welcome, by the loudest fans anyway.

I don’t have any friends who also support them, but most people I have met at the grounds have always been good value, so I hold onto that. It really feels like one large part fan base hates the other, and I happen to be on the wrong side of it.

Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I know my friends across town at Fulham don’t share this experience!

Castle crest or nah?

What’s everyone’s preference for the next crest? I’m personally gonna be voting for a simplistic hammer style shield like 58-68. But the vibe I’m getting is the castle might well be making a comeback due to the appetite for it from the fans.

People seemed furious it wasn’t back on the kit today, despite the consultation not even happening yet!
