Disasi off to Palace it would seem

It’s a shame but after saying he needed a week or two, guess the writing was on the wall.

Why isn't Charlton a bigger derby?

Or maybe it is and I'm unaware. American Hammer here for 2 decades and I almost forgot where Charlton was until we got back in the championship and I looked it up before this Saturdays match.

Eddie howe

With Eddie on the market and staveley looking to buy in would this be a good combination.
I’m not anti nuno, but I’m not a fan either, but I do believe he isn’t the best option long term. Yes he has a decent record of getting out of the championship but not a great one as a PL manager.
I’m tempted to think it only started going south for Eddie once Staveley moved on
Thoughts?

Ashamed of our fans

That Manor Solomon chant is so out of touch. It’s too far, the same group that were saying to “keep politics out of football”

Just yesterday the Israeli national security minister advocated for killing 30-40 Palestinians per day as he does not see them as people

Appreciate he is a good player and he’s a part of the team now but some of our fans just do not get it.

My overall point is just don’t joke about it, its embarrassing and makes the rest of the fanbase look so bad

I actually hate (strong word I know)Nuno!

As the title says, I hate Nuno!
We’re in a mess, I get that Vanessa Gold put the spanner in the works with the Stavely business.
However, he’s had months to sort this dressing room out & he’s failed miserably, we all knew certain players weren’t going to pull the shirt on this year, why leave it till the season starts to address this?
We also have a GK that can’t catch the football, he’s going to cost us this season mark my words, a good solid GK will save you 20pts a season, he’s flakey as fuck, doesn’t know when to come or stay, refuses to catch the ball and does not communicate with his defenders, cost us the 2nd goal v Burnley when simple shout world have resulted in a goal kick & not a corner.
How’s Nuno not addressed this?
His tactics are questionable at best, he doesn’t know when to stick or twist & the players are confused when we take the lead.
And he falls out with everyone, he did at Wolves, Tottenham, Forest & now us, there’s a pattern .

COYI!

Sick of people excusing Nuno - We need to break the bank and give this man anything he wants

14 Days to define the season

With 14 days left of the transfer window, what would you like to see happen? Looking at the last game against Burnley, it was stark to see the lack of options from the bench. Do we need to look for depth or more first team plyers. If we play Kante do we need to look for a strong tackling midfielder to shield the defence (Tommy coming back will be a plus in that area)or another strong CB? Would you consider loans and frees as an option?

I would like to see a versatile fullback, a strong CM, a winger and a striker. Not sure we will get all of this done at our current pace, but we need numbers to last a 40+ game season.

West Ham’s reality check: Why their path back to the Premier League won’t be easy

Before a ball was kicked against Burnley on Sunday, there was a misplaced arrogance from some that West Ham United would walk the 2026-27 Championship.

Instead, they received a much-needed reality check in their season opener.

Following relegation from the Premier League last season, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are understandably considered promotion favourites. But they squandered a two-goal lead at Turf Moor, were taunted by the home supporters and ended up with a 2-2 draw that has created more angst than optimism.

It was a game that highlighted West Ham’s lack of squad depth, with Nuno unable to influence the game with offensive substitutions.

West Ham are depleted of attacking options with untested academy prospects Joshua Ajala and Josh Landers the only recognisable forward options on the bench. Despite Arne Engels’ imminent £22million arrival from Celtic, this squad is still not equipped to cope with the rigours of a 46-game schedule in the second tier.

Other glaring issues include Nuno being prone to a drab approach when his side is in front.
