Star Wars: The Shattered Empire

Order 66 failed.

When Fives uncovered the truth behind the inhibitor chips during the Clone Wars, his actions accidentally caused thousands of chips across the clone army to malfunction. When Order 66 was finally issued, only part of the Grand Army of the Republic obeyed.

The Republic still fell.

But the Empire's victory was far from complete.

Now, years later, the galaxy is engulfed in a civil war unlike anything the Empire expected. The Galactic Defense Coalition is a massive military alliance made up of clone troopers who resisted or defected from the Empire, planetary militias, surviving Jedi, Mandalorians, and eventually even remnants of the Separatist Alliance.

And unlike the Rebel Alliance of the future, the GDC isn't a scattered insurgency.

It has armies.

It has fleets.

It has experienced commanders.

And it is fighting the Empire in an all-out conventional war.

At the center of the conflict is Nova Company, a group of soldiers who never expected to become heroes: Jedi Knight Emma Amara, clone Captain Franco, ARC Trooper Vex, former Imperial officer Sophie Squire, and Mandalorian Aran Tal.

But Sophie has a more personal connection to the Empire than anyone realizes.

Her twin sister, Stella Squire, remains an Imperial officer—and one of the Empire's most capable commanders.

As the war spreads across the galaxy, the sisters find themselves fighting on opposite sides of a conflict that will test their loyalty, their families, and everything they believed about the Empire.

The Republic is gone.

The Empire has risen.

But the war isn't over.
