I believe online radio deserves a stronger place in 2026

Dear online radio lovers!

It's great to see that I'm not the only person who still loves internet radio in 2026.

I also understand why online radio isn't more popular today. Most radio websites and apps feel outdated, noisy, full of ads, and simply can't compete with modern streaming apps.

I felt that online radio deserves a better experience, so I built Frequentia: a free, ad-free platform designed for everyday listening.

It includes things like:

  • mood pages
  • favorites
  • listening history
  • listening statistics, listening time
  • regions
  • fast search
  • light / dark theme

The project is still very young and I'm actively working on it, but I'd genuinely love to hear what other radio enthusiasts think.

Do you still listen to online radio regularly? What features do you miss from existing radio apps?
