Hi, I am a long distance swimmer and cannot miss training even when on holiday. I will be in Georgia for a week (Tbilisi, then Ananuri, then Kazbegi). Where can I swim in an open body of water and not get seriously ill from poor water quality? I am away it is the end of May but I have my wetsuit which allows me to swim in water as low as 10 degrees Celsius. Please only make recommendations if you actually know about open water/long distance swimming!!

I know about the following options:
- Tbilisi Reservoir
- Zhinvali Reservoir
