NAB Qantas Signature - Bonus Points Limbo
Hi Group - wanted to share my experience with the NAB QF signature card, and bonus 70,000 QF points with minimum $5,000 spend in three months.
Plus points - the minimum spend can include rent payments made to DEFT, I assume snip would also qualify as eligible spend. They seem pretty fair on the qualification - I called today and they confirmed I'd reached min spend 5 days ago which is 100% in line with my calcs.
However - when do the points get credited, this is the question. It's now mid-May and I requested the points be credited on the end of May statement, so I can use them in June for a vacation trip on Qantas. However they said this could not be done, their reasoning is if they expedite the points then they may end up giving me 2x points. Seems like a load of bs - just an excuse not to change their system.
So overall I find NAB to be quite a 'black box' when it comes to bonus points credit timeframes, no commitment as to when given. With others such as Qantas Platinum they've been really fair and credited immediately (within a few days) of min spend achieved.

What has your experience been? Please do share.
Also I asked about the email confirming spend achieved - was told this would happen but again zero confirmation of when. Could be a few days, a month, who knows?
