All we want is less than 10 days over load

Dear Corp,

Excluding those individuals at the end of their rope with the company.

Is it too much to ask for no more than 2 weeks a year, where one is not doing the work of 2 or more?

VP's need to get their underlings moved around to the stores that need.

This is a weekly task that can not be put off.

Loss to a Walk

Some stores are so overwhelmed that customers are leaving without maximizing purchase potential.

Whether it be no service, or a lack of time to get them everything an experienced employee can. Or even something else.

Mid year Sherplan Review

Just had a Sherplan review.

Dm:
Why are you not hitting your budget?

Me:
I was told the budget, and to fill in the boxes to achieve this on paper.

Real question is why did Sherwin tell me to put in the percent last November?

Convo with Family this Holiday week.

To all those short staffed stores out there....

If for instance you are short staffed an ASM, say to friends and family:

Yeah, Sherwin has a budget, and a placement for 44 hours of ASM, but they clearly think customer service, and work life balance of those that remain, is A OK when the store loses 44 hours of labor each and every week.

92 hours a Week is minimum. Do they care about you?

Policy 2 fulltime employees.

SM 48 hours
ASM 44 hours

Total 96 hours of week to staff a store.

I what way (given a week for some accident etc) does this show that Sherwin thinks nothing more of store employees than means to an end?

They do not care about you.

They want all stores with 2 full time employees.

PROFIT!

2 Person Per Store Policy

Policy states:

Every store shall have 2 full time employees.

Designed to protect that which Sherwin states as their most valuable resource.

Anyone else remember at NSM when Binns stated that stores would see an improvement in staffing the stores during the most critical hours?

Has anyone, anywhere seen any change in policy('s), total labor hours per biz unit (store), increase in district personnel, or any other change in helping customers get better service?

And/or employees having a better experience?

Or is this just another statement the Prez makes every few years to fool store employees into working harder for nothing.

One can get great quality paint anywhere.

What is SW selling?
