I believe that LOIS was present in the background in S1.

I believe that PedoTwat knew somehow about Fran actually being alive, and used that to blackmail Judy to get the file about Fran, that she showed Tyler.Imagine the stink that would have been caused by the info about Fran being imprisoned, since this is the wife of a cop that we're talking about. She also likely leaked the information that Tyler could be a Hyde himself.

Another thing, I believe LOIS was already keeping tabs on Tyler way before PedoTwat came into the picture. Given that his mom was a rare kind of Outcast, a Hyde, they would have anticipated that Tyler could possibly be one himself, and could have kept an eye on him somehow.

Willowhill was already hell.

But it could have been even worse

As we know, Tyler isn't wearing a shirt in those scenes because "Oh he'll just get angry and Hyde out and rip the shirt".

By that logic, Willowhill being the dehumanizing place that it is, wouldn't bother to give Tyler pants either "because he'd just rip through". They'd just let him stand there, butt naked and in chains, wearing that god-awful shock collar ( which is illegal btw, its only legal use is for freaking DOGS), stripped of his dignity. Willowhill and Fairburn didn't see Tyler as a human with feelings,they treated him like a DOG.

And I seriously think Fairburn was a creep herself

There would have been even more outrage if Tyler was a girl. No shirt, not even a FUCKING bra ( coz again, the BS reason of " it'll rip through" )

This is the exact reason why I will get riot if anyone finds those scenes sexy. Because doing that means that there is no concern that A MINOR is being sexualized here without their consent or will. There is nothing sexy about this scene. This is a teenage guy in PAIN.

Honestly, I hope Tyler sues Willowhill ( Or what's left of it) with Gomez's help in later seasons for institutional abuse.
