If i wrote something in a different language in my English creative writing piece would it be corny

I'm trying to make a plan for my creative writing piece for unit 1 VCE English and the contention is conflict

I'm thinking of writing a reflective memoir my identity of being half Japanese/white and part of it talks about the guilt of being unable to be as fluent as I want to be in Japanese considering it's my mum's native tongue

would it be unnecessary/corny to write a sentence in Japanese considering my teacher wouldn't be able to read it, and in my opinion it could symbolise the feeling of disorientation and words feeling foreign

it would be something like 「私は日本語を話せる」I can speak Japanese. It was the first language I spoke, wrote, read, and understood, but somewhere along the line, without noticing, I fell behind.

I need some honest words of wisdom

Thanks!

I need help with playing 'My Way' in a different key!

I have a performance next week with my band playing My Way by Frank Sinatra. We've been practicing for a few weeks with the chords in D major, but my singer has just asked me to switch to Bb major as D major is too difficult (It's a hit-or-miss situation with whether or not she can hit the notes)

Looking at the transposed chords I don't think there's any way I can learn them in a week. most are barre chords and I really struggle with those, plus I've never played any of them before. I've been playing casually for about 3 years.

Is there any advice on what I could do please, I've tried telling her I won't be able to do them but she just asks me to do them anyway, thank you

UPDATE: singer changed the key to A -- So much easier now! thanks for all the advice
