Hi everyone,
I thought I’d share this incident with the community so someone in the situation can benefit.

Few days ago, I rented a zipcar(ev) from campus and returned on the spot. It had around 30% charge, and since I rented only for 3 hours, I had no time to charge, nor the return spot (campus parking lot) had the charger.

Then zipcar sent me an email with $30 for low fuel return. However, on their webpage,their rules say “there is no minimum charge required to return an ev”.

Of course I emailed them back, and escalation of the issue, and in few days I was able to cancel the charged fee.

I am so sick of zipcar overcharging and scamming users that don’t complain enough. Probably this is the last time I rent a zipcar!
