I've tried Uniqlo and Rodd & Gunn, but both run a bit long on me. On top of that, Rodd & Gunn felt noticeably stiff and rough after washing, which was dealbreaker.

I love the softness of Uniqlo's fabric but just need something that sits a bit higher. Any recommendations for brands that nail both the length and the feel? Ideally something that doesn't swamp me below the zipper.
