is struggling with getting adequate blackberry flavor
I’m putting together and playing with a menu for my birthday party, and have my heart set on a dominantly jammy blackberry mocktail that sparkles with lime, rhubarb, and has a fresh ginger spice and warmth. I’ll admit I haven’t really been following any specific method. I've just been trying different ways to cook them down. Primarily freezing, defrosting, muddying incredibly thoroughly, and adding either water or juice from a second batch of muddled berries, but even after reducing incredibly low and slow it still kills the flavor. 3 cups of blackberries, give me at most three rather bland drinks, unless I rely on the other flavor elements, which I really prefer to be an accent, not the main topic. After three very lackluster batches, I did give research a go on how to find what I need. It’s all just stuff. I’ve already tried, freezing and muddling and low and slow. I can’t figure out if search engines are useless at this point, or if it’s my problem lol. I do apologize for how poorly written and formatted this is, if I try and fix it, I end up never asking.
