I'm moving to Abu Dhabi soon for a software engineering role.

After working remotely for the last 5 years, this will be my first time working onsite and living in a new country. I'm excited, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not a little nervous.

There are so many things to figure out—finding accommodation, opening a bank account, getting a SIM card, understanding the work culture, making friends, and adjusting to everyday life.

I'm 27M and will be moving to Abu Dhabi at the end of this month for a new job. It's my first time living in the UAE, so I'm a mix of excited and a little nervous about starting this new chapter.

A bit about me — I work as a software developer, and outside of that I run a small YouTube channel on the side, so I'm usually juggling code and content between projects.
