I was so very kindly gifted so many new-to-me security envelope patterns. So much fun to be had in my future using them and sharing with my crafty friends. Even the manilla envelope has a security pattern in it. I have never seen that before. Happy Crafting or Happy Collecting! 🌞

Received this awesome card in today's mail. It is interesting that this is the orientation of the envelope, with my name, address & and stamps, but the cancelation is on the right side as if the envelope was oriented that way. Here are more Airmail stamps for those who enjoy using them. There are three pictures with 8 cent, 10 cent, and 20 cent stamps. Plus I really enjoy the 8 cent US Postal Service series and I got a few of them in my 8 cent assorted envelope. The 8 cent brown Airmail at top of a picture was because of Alaska. I think these are all cool! 📬🌞📬

The Walt Disney 6 cent stamp is a huge, huge "wished for" stamp for me. There were two plate blocks so 8 stamps total in 600 six cent stamps from yesterday's glassine envelopes purchase at the stamp show. I also really like this Hemisfair '68 stamp and it is new to me. There were quite a few of that stamp and it has the neatest texture. With my vision issues I end up being "touchy feely" often on products. I like this buffalo/Bison stamp and hope I remember to use it along with this year's Bison Forever stamp. Many of us seem to gravitate towards the old airmail stamps and there were quite a few in these 600 stamps. Now to check the next denomination. 📬😁📬

I went to a stamp show yesterday that I have attended many times over 3 plus years. It was the busiest I have seen it. Got there about 15 minutes after it started. I sat down at a table to look through sheets of stamps that I have purchased from this dealer before and my phone rang. It was my hubby. He had gone to sit in the back of the room and he had talked to the dealer back there. My hubby says to me to get back there as this guy has assorted stamps for postage all at 50% of Face Value. I had never purchased from him before. I got these three booklets and all of these large glassine envelopes that contained 100 stamps of x Face Value for half off. Now I will sit and look through them to see what I bought. They range from 6 cent stamps to 39 cent stamps. Cross your fingers for me that I find some "wished for" stamps. Thanks for looking! 📬😁📬

Today was a wonderful day for mail for me. Very exciting! I received three awesome pieces of mail. The postcard from India was a result of a swap via this subreddit with u/OK_Inspector_4596 and they very kindly enclosed extra stamps for me. AND I feel like I have won the lottery as I was the recipient of the 21 stamps on one envelope! So thrilled! And one postcard sent from another sub to me and that postcard stamp wasn't canceled. Four outgoing cards today. Took them to my small town Post Office and requested hand canceling. Two cards are almost identical with the stamps I used. 📬🌞📬

Learned through someone posting on here about a public library wanting postcards from all 50 states for a project coming up soon. So here are three that I am sending to them. I used a Buzz Lightyear stamp on the large postcard to help represent Florida. 😁

And, a card is going out, too, today. Yep, I overpaid by a few cents, but the stamps looked so nice together that I didn't have the heart to separate them. Thanks for dropping by to check out the stamps! 📬🌞📬

Three outgoing today. One international and two domestic which I put extra postage on. It is super hot here today and my hubby agreed to take the mail to the Post Office to mail it for me. It's bad enough he has to park and go inside as there isn't a blue mail receptacle outside. So he didn't have to stand in the always long line I just put two Forever stamps on them rather than risk the cards being postage due and this way he could get back in the car's A/C quickly. Two more envelopes that I mailed out today. I can't remember which ones in today's batch of outgoing mail needed it, but I had to buy 4 School Bus stamps for an extra ounce on four cards. It is so very hot here that I didn't want to take any from home that I had already purchased in case the heat damaged them on their stamp sheet. Thanks for looking!
