Learned through someone posting on here about a public library wanting postcards from all 50 states for a project coming up soon. So here are three that I am sending to them. I used a Buzz Lightyear stamp on the large postcard to help represent Florida. 😁

Three outgoing today. One international and two domestic which I put extra postage on. It is super hot here today and my hubby agreed to take the mail to the Post Office to mail it for me. It's bad enough he has to park and go inside as there isn't a blue mail receptacle outside. So he didn't have to stand in the always long line I just put two Forever stamps on them rather than risk the cards being postage due and this way he could get back in the car's A/C quickly. Two more envelopes that I mailed out today. I can't remember which ones in today's batch of outgoing mail needed it, but I had to buy 4 School Bus stamps for an extra ounce on four cards. It is so very hot here that I didn't want to take any from home that I had already purchased in case the heat damaged them on their stamp sheet. Thanks for looking! Another thank you card that my hubby got hand canceled for me yesterday. These two stamps the postal clerk really liked seeing. And again, quirky me trying to match colors of stamps to the card. Did I succeed in coordinating the stamp colors to the card/envelope? Thanks for dropping by! 📬🌞📬

Sending a thank you note in yesterday's mail and my hubby kindly stood in line to get them hand canceled. He said the postal clerk was amazed at the older stamps and was asking where I buy them so he explained about the stamp shows. He said seeing the older stamps made her smile. Quirky me loves to try to match or coordinate the stamps to either the envelope or the card. Thanks for stopping by to check it out! 📬🌞📬

Received some Happy Mail from a longtime crafty friend yesterday. She used two of the flag stamps. The folds in the flag on the left stamp are so detailed. I love the clouds above the flag in the stamp on the right. They were hand canceled too and avoided the machine cancelation. 📬😁📬

This postcard that I received yesterday celebrating Smokey the Bear is extra special! He's been a favorite of mine for years. AND, the postcard had two of my extra favorite postage stamps...Smokey the Bear and McGruff the Crime Dog. Plus a third stamp celebrating letter carriers that I don't remember ever having. Thank you to the wonderful sender!
