Stamp math after a short haitus 🤩🤩
The 1/2 penny ones always make me laugh but I love them
Outgoing Mail Today
Learned through someone posting on here about a public library wanting postcards from all 50 states for a project coming up soon. So here are three that I am sending to them. I used a Buzz Lightyear stamp on the large postcard to help represent Florida. 😁
And, a card is going out, too, today. Yep, I overpaid by a few cents, but the stamps looked so nice together that I didn't have the heart to separate them. Thanks for dropping by to check out the stamps! 📬🌞📬
Animal and Nature sets plus misc
Outgoing this week, enjoyed how the first came out for someone who likes animals and nature!
As many stamps as I could fit!
Sharing this card I prepared for the ‘As many stamps as you can fit on the card’ tag on the Postcrossing Forum. This was so therapeutic to prepare ♥️
Outgoing today
To a library in Georgia that requests postcards from each state (probably would love other countries as well)!
Coming and going Wednesday
At least it wasn't a Sharpie lol.
Sent 23 cards!
I am waaaay out of habit of checking in here (but I am still tracking all my empties!) so I thought I’d share a recent win.
I have a tendency to stock up on greetings cards for all occasions just in case… and then forget to send them when those occasions actually roll around. It was also one of my goals to send two cards per month this year, and I was way behind.
So, I asked friends on social media who wanted mail that wasn’t a bill or junk — and I was really surprised to see how many people took me up on it! Folks I haven’t talked to in years, or just who I never would have thought would be into getting happy mail. I also got addresses for friends with August birthdays, and remembered to send some various congratulations on a new home, an engagement and a few other life events.
All in all, I sent 23 cards. That’s also 23 forever stamps from my overflowing stash and several dozen stickers in order to decorate each envelope. I also sent some stickers in cards to friends who I thought would appreciate them. :)
Today's outgoing stamp math 💌📮
Have been enjoying using more lower denomination stamps for even more stamp math!
Today’s Outgoing Stamp Math
Sometimes the hardest part of stamp math is fitting them all on. I had a little overlap on a postcard and I hope USPS still delivers it!🤞
Attending my first Stamp Show
Hello! I will be attending my first show next month. Is there anything I should know? I am mostly interested in buying some vintage stamps to have more stamp math on my mail. Would this be the right place to look? if not, where do most people get low denomination stamps?
(idk if relevant, but this is in the USA)
Thanks in advance :)
Today's Outgoing
Cards to friends to let them know they are thought of. One is homebound & in her 90s. The other is a long-time crafty friend who is battling cancer and the effects of the treatments. Thank you for stopping by for a look! 📬🌞📬
Didn't think this through
Tried to stick to a fruit themed envelope for the recipient. Too bad I don't have a 2¢ fruit stamp 😭 but it will get there!
Stamp Math going out
used stamp math to send 2 heavy boys, one to Europe the other to America
3 outgoing postcards for Canada, Germany, and Russia
Sending these to get the first day of issue postmarks on the bison stamps
Recent Outgoing 📬
Sharing some recent outgoing after they reached recipients in this group and RAOC.
Starting with my favorite - an ode to New England 💛
Was also proud of the 2nd one, going to u/feistynoodle to celebrate passing CPA exams. Dug deep for mostly all financial related ones I could find and was pretty excited considering the niche!
